Highlights

Our first TWO performances went amazingly and all are excited for tonight.

Reminders


We strongly encourage parents to print your own program and to bring it with you to the performance tomorrow.  Teachers will collect DVD orders in their classrooms after the performance. The price of the DVD is $20 (cash only please).

 Please read The Alex information. An alternative to a holiday gift exchange at school is to make a donation on behalf of the person to whom you would give a gift.

Last day of class is tomorrow. See you all back January fifth! Happy Holiday!

Highlights

We practiced our celebration of learning on the stage today!  We also watched a handbell performance.

Reminders

Please wear black or dark coloured pants tomorrow.  The t-shirts for our performance have been kept at school.

Parents are invited to watch our performances tomorrow from 1-2pm and from 7-8 pm.  Doors will open at 6:30 pm for the evening show.  Children will go to their classroom when they arrive.  For more information, click on the link:  Celebration of Learning

There a couple of students who have not brought either a blue, white or grey t-shirt for our celebration of learning pictures tomorrow.  Please send this with your child tomorrow if your child has not brought their t-shirt to school already.  We are asking students to wear dark coloured pants with their t-shirts.

Tomorrow we will be having our dress rehearsal on the stage!  Class pictures will also be taken.

On Thursday, parents are invited to come to our celebration of learning performances from 1-2 pm and 7-8 pm.  Students have been working very hard and are excited to perform!

    Please send a plain (i.e., without logos or graphics) t-shirt (choose either solid  white, solid grey , solid blue or solid light blue) to school by December 9. Please provide a labeled ziplock bag in which to store the t-shirt at school. This t-shirt will be used as your child's dance costume for the Celebration of Learning.

Homework
-Students had their spelling quiz.  Teachers will mark the tests over the weekend and return them Monday.  There will not be any formal spelling homework next week.  Please encourage your child to review the past spelling lists.

Information about our celebration of learning photographs and the DVDs:

-Please remember to bring a white, blue or grey t-shirt (in a Ziplock bag with your child's name on it) for our celebration of learning.  We will keep these at the school, since students will need them for our  rehearsal and group pictures on Wednesday, as well as, our 3 performances on Thursday (school performance at 9:30 am, parent performance at 1 pm, parent performance at 7 pm).

-Students are asked to wear black or dark coloured pants next Wednesday and Thursday.  They will be performing on the stage in bare feet due to safety and noise issues.

There was a substitute in Mrs. Diduch's class today.

Please practice the following spelling words 5 times:  give, live, love, nice.  Spelling quiz on this week's words on Friday.
