Highlights

On Tuesday we had a practice evacuation drill and the whole school walked to Captain Nichola Goddard School.

In Social Studies we looked at pictures and talked about different places and events in Calgary (e.g., Calaway Park, Saddledome, Stampede, Fort Calgary, etc.)  Later we will be comparing our community with other communities in Canada.

We also started working on editing our writing.  We are checking to make sure that our sentences have a capital letter at the start and punctuation at the end.  We are also checking to make sure that words from our word wall are spelled correctly in our writing.
