Highlights

-In Math we are working on teen numbers and recognizing that teen numbers consist of 10 and some more (e.g., 13 is 10 and 3, 17 is 10 and 7, etc.)

-We worked on a Reading Power page in our creative journals.

-In Health we are working on identifying different feelings.  We read, “My Feelings Book” and made connections by writing about our own experiences and feelings.

-In Social Studies we are learning about our city.

-Spelling quiz tomorrow

-At least 15 minutes of reading every night.  Paper books will be available for students to bring home starting on Monday.
