Mrs. Diduch: We built our marionettes.
Ms. Bain: We are learning about fact families in
Math. (E.g., 3+5=8, 5+3=8,
8-5=3, 8-3=5) Knowing addition facts can help with solving
subtraction facts.
Homework
Mrs. Diduch’s Class: Please bring in images (drawn or other
pictures) of evidence of where the French language can be seen, heard, or spoken
in Alberta. (Street sings, packaging, city names, magazines etc.) We are
looking for the presence of French culture in Alberta from the past and in the
present.
Home Reading. Please continue to read every night! As it gets
warmer out it is important to keep reading as a habit all summer. If students
stop reading during the summer they may fall out of practice.
Ms. Bain’s class: Please practice your final list for our last
spelling quiz at the end of this week.
Reminders
If your child has not returned their birdhouse building form,
please make sure they do so tomorrow (otherwise students will not be able to
participate in this activity)! Thank you to the parents who have
volunteered. Since this activity is at the school, parents do not need to
fill out separate forms. We look forward to seeing our volunteers at
12:30 pm on Tuesday!!
Ms. Bain’s class: Last day for Scholastic book orders is Tuesday, June
16. (Cash or cheque)
Please return any library books. Students will not be able to sign out new books as
preparations have begun for next year.
