started our new round of Math Work Centers.
Ms. Bain- We
looked at pictures of landmarks in Calgary as part of our social studies
curriculum.

Our
Celebration of Learning Presentation is the evening of December 18, 2014.

Please
send a plain (i.e., without logos or graphics) t-shirt (choose either
solid grey, solid white, or solid light
blue) to school by December 9. Please provide a labeled ziplock bag in
which to store the t-shirt at school. This t-shirt will be used as your child's
dance costume for the Celebration of Learning.

Friday,
November 21 is a non-instuctional day.

December
4 (evening) & December 5 (all day): Parent/Teacher conferences.
Homework
Spelling List #4 was sent home
yesterday. Practice sounding and printing the following words: word,
today, what, do.
Practice reading the song that we will be performing at our Celebration
of Learning on December 18: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall
Home Reading: Please record your daily home reading on
the Blue Reading

Mrs. Diduch- The paper Reading A-Z books may be returned to school after
being read three times and exchanged for new books. For parents and students
who prefer to use a mobile device, the Reading A-Z titles are available for
purchase as ebooks.
