Highlights

Ms. Bain:  We are learning to edit our writing.  (Uppercase letters at the start of sentences; punctuation at the end; using correct spelling of words from our spelling lists)

Mrs. Diduch:  We worked on descriptive writing about dogs. 

Reminders

Mrs. Diduch/ Ms. Bain’s class: We are starting our building unit.  We are looking for a variety of materials.  Please send in any of the following: popsicle sticks, tooth-picks, card-board (cut into manageable pieces), clean empty food tins, paper-towel rolls, egg-cartons, string, plastic lids, plastic drink cups, etc.

    

Please continue to send in your Boston Pizza receipts to support our Boston Pizza Fundraiser.  When your child brings in a receipt they have a chance to win a prize!

   

Jump Rope for Heart Donations are due back on Friday March 6^th.

Homework

Ms. Bain:  Reading.  I am currently checking students' writing to see if they are transferring their knowledge of our spelling words into their writing.  Lists will be sent home next week with words your child needs to continue to practice.
