We had a fire drill this morning. Both classes were very responsible and knew what to do. Way to go!

- Thursday May 19 (Scholastic book order due)

- Friday May 20 is a PD Day (no school)

- Monday May 23 is Victoria Day (no school)

***Wednesday May 25 is Children's Festival field trip (forms for students and volunteers went home Tuesday May 10. Please return ASAP)

Children’s Festival – May 25^th

·    Please make sure kids are dressed for the weather in any event (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, umbrellas, etc.)

·    Students will each bring their own backpack, with their lunch inside. They carry their bags the whole day, so keep them as light as possible.

·    On field trips, kids sometimes need more food and drinks than they do while at school, especially if it is hot out.

·    Volunteers – our bus will leave at 9, so please be at the school at 8:30 J

Hooray!!! Our school cookbook is finally completed and off to the printers! If you would like to purchase one (or more), please complete the blue order form that went home with your child last Friday. The cost to purchase one is $20. You can also purchase additional copies if you wish to give them to friends or relatives. We hope to have a sample copy in the school office by Wednesday in case you wish to look at it prior to purchasing it. The profit from the sale of this cookbook will be donated to Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids. We would appreciate having all orders returned by May 19th. Thank you for your support!
