Picture Re-take Day: October 29 in the morning.
Student Voice this year has chosen some dates for spirit
days. Our first spirit day will be on Thursday, October 29th. We are
going to have Orange and Black Day. Let’s
show some spirit in our school by dressing in these October colours.
Homework:
Reading: Students should be reading 10-15 minutes each night (either the
paper books, Raz-kids books, their own books at home or library books if they
are at an appropriate level). It is very
beneficial for students to read a book multiple times to improve their reading
fluency.
Word Study
(spelling): We will have a review
quiz tomorrow. The quiz will be on all
of the words we have practiced the past 2 weeks. (a, for, it, to, and, from, is, the, are, have, like, they, as, had,
of, that)
Ask Me About:
Our Science experiment. (We coloured a black circle on a coffee
filter with a Mr. Sketch marker and then dropped water on the circle. We were surprised to see that the black
circle spread out and we saw colours like yellow, red, orange, purple and blue.)
