Highlights

Mrs. Diduch’s class- We took advantage of our lovely fall weather and sketched our fall trees. We are learning the difference between deciduous and coniferous trees as the seasons change.

Ms. Bain’s Class- Miss Dixon will be joining us for the next 5 weeks.  She is a student teacher from Mount Royal College who is in her 3^rd year of education. We look forward to having her in our classroom!

Reminders

Please watch for the home reading books to go home tomorrow. Please listen to your child read each book three times before exchanging at school.  Write the date and name of the book, as well as initial the home reading booklet so that I know which books have been sent home. Thanks! The bag should be stored in your child’s back pack so that exchanges can be done on their day.

Homework

Graphemes: Practice printing and sounding the following graphemes: oy, &oi

Keep reviewing the multi-letter graphemes! This is an important piece to learning to read and write.

Ms. Bain’s class- print “oy” and “oi” 5 times while saying the sounds.  Here are the two secret words: “joy” and “voice.”  Please write each word 5 times.
