Homework:
Home reading/Raz-Kids
reading: Each child has been sent a paper book to read
tonight. After your child has read their
book to a parent, older sibling, guardian, etc. please initial the log sheet
indicating that the reading was complete.
Information was also sent home if students would like to use the
online Raz-Kids reading program. If
students choose to read the Raz-Kids books instead of the paper books, please
have them record the title of the book they practiced on the log sheet.
*If students read more than one book on Raz-Kids they only have
to print one of the books on the log sheet each night.
Printing homework
There is no formal printing homework for the weekend; however,
please feel free to have your child practice the letters a, c, d, f, g, o if
they would benefit from additional practice.
They can use the blue homework books to practice their printing.
When forming the letters a, c, d, g, o, please make sure your
child makes the “c” shape first (this helps prevent them from circling in the
wrong direction).
Reminders:
We will be using the computers soon. If you would like your child to have their
own personal set of headphones or ear buds, please send a set in a Ziplock with
your child’s name on it.
-Library: Students will now be allowed to trade their
library books as they read them. Library
books can be kept for a maximum of 2 weeks and must be returned in the Library
book bag.
Ask Me About:
