Highlights

We started our last week of spelling before we take a little break from official spelling homework.  Students will be given a spelling assessment and then begin leveled lists in January.  In Science we started learning about our sense of sight.  During music classes, students have been busy preparing for our winter concert. We are also beginning math centres.

Word Study (spelling):  Practice spelling and write one line of the following words:  jump, my, then.  

There will be a spelling quiz on Thursday of the words from last week and this week.  

Important Information

- There is no school Friday, Dec. 4.  

- We are now collecting socks and toiletries for The Alex “Warm toes without holes.” Students are encouraged to bring in a pair of socks, as well as bus tickets or toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes).

- PHS is also participating in the Mayor’s Food Drive.
