Highlights
During Math, we started to work on word problems.  We talked about how we can use different strategies to solve problems, such as drawing pictures or using addition or subtraction.  We also talked about how it may be necessary to read a word problem multiple times to help us understand what the question is asking.

In Science we experimented with combining different liquids.  We discovered that some liquids mix (e.g., vinegar and water) while others do not (oil and water).

In Social Studies we are learning about Arctic animals because we will be making Arctic animals out of clay in February.
