Highlights:

Ms. Bain’s class:  Students took home Gladiolus plants from our Science unit.  The challenge is to keep these plants alive and watch them grow.

Mrs. Diduch’s class:  We finished our monster masks today.

Homework:

Ms. Bain’s class:
-Practice spelling words  (Spelling quiz at the end of next week)

Mrs. Diduch’s class:
A zip lock baggie full of letters were sent home last week. The purpose of these letters is to have the students practice making words like we did in class that day. It is a time for them to show off what they can do. Start with one-letter words, then, two, then three and so on.  I will post the new making words letters each day. Today’s letters were: aiioddtn.

-Please continue to review twelve spelling words each week.

Reminders:

Heritage Park Field Trip
Thank-you to the large number of parents who volunteered for this field trip!!  Unfortunately we are limited to only 5 parents per class for this trip.  Volunteer forms were sent home with parents who previously signed up on the volunteer blog link.  If any of these parents are unable to attend, forms will be sent with additional volunteers.  (Ms. Bain’s class currently has 5 volunteers with 2 parents on the “waitlist.”)  Thanks for your support!  Mrs. Diduch’s class still has spaces open.  This is the only field trip of the year where parent volunteer numbers are limited due to funds.

Twin Day
Friday June 5th is Twin Day at Panorama Hills School. You and a friend (or even 2!) can dress the same to be twins for the day! You could wear the same colors, same t-shirt or even have the same hairstyle, the choice is yours. Be sure to ask a friend if they would like to be your twin and show us your best twin outfits on Friday June 5th.

Thanks
