Highlights:
Today because our school is being
used as an election site, all students had an outdoor picnic lunch. What a
beautiful day for it.
Homework:
Please have your child read for a
minimum of 15 minutes per night. This can be a paper book or Raz-Kids. If
using Raz-Kids please have your child listen to the book, read
the book, and then complete the comprehension quiz
(independently).
Mrs. Diduch: Our spelling
routine has changed to review our No Excuse grade one words. We will be
reviewing 12 words a week. A choice board for activities has been sent home.
This weeks words are: by, car, day, does, down, eat, else, every, father, for,
from, fun
Reminders:
We REALLY need
volunteers for this next Monday for our Bowmont Park field trip. If we don’t
get enough we can’t go! Please help!!! Please click on the link below.

Mrs. Diduch needs a couple of parent volunteers to help
in the classroom during our building things unit. Helpers will be running glue
guns etc. Please e-mail her if you can help on May 13th from
2:00-3:00.
