Highlights:

Ms. Bain: We are learning about 2D shapes in math.

Ms. Diduch: We are reading little house on the prarie and are learning a lot about the past.

Homework:

Ms. Bain: Spelling quiz and word lists sent home.

Please have your child read for a minimum of 15 minutes per night.  This can be a paper book or Raz-Kids. 

Level I/J books are considered at grade level books for Grade 1.  Students should be able to read these books fluently with a high degree of accuracy and be able to answer comprehension questions about what they have read.
