Highlights
In Science, we reviewed our sense of sight and talked about how
people can see things different ways.
For example, we worked together as a group to complete a colour
blindness test. We also put the infamous
picture of “the dress” on the Smartboard and had students colour what they
saw. It was interesting because some
people saw the dress as blue and black, while others saw it as white and
gold. Even Ms. Bain, Ms. Hansen and Mrs.
Colpitts all saw the dress as being different colours. It is important to have your child’s eyesight
checked regularly by a professional. J

Thursday
January 14 is our spirit day here at Panorama Hills School, Blue and Gold Day. Students are
encouraged to wear Blue and Gold. We are hoping that the spirit wear will be
delivered by Thursday, however if not, wear what you have that is blue and
gold.
Student
Voice Reps will be selling Panorama
Hills School bracelets to wear, $1 per bracelet. Bring your money by Wednesday morning.
Student Voice Reps will collect money for their classroom.
Scholastic
book orders are due Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016.
–Before the break, Ms. Bain and Ms. Hansen gave each student a $5 coupon to buy a book from the Scholastic orders. Please fill out the coupon and return it with
the order form. If your order is more
than $5, just subtract $5 from the total amount. Students may use their coupon for any of the
Scholastic orders from now until June.
(If you have lost your coupon, just attach a note saying which book you
want).
Jan. 14- Spirit Day- Wear gold and blue
