Highlights
The grade 4 classes
led a Remembrance Day assembly. We also
worked with Mrs. Fitzpatrick to complete poppy art in our creative
journals.
On Wednesday we had
a lock-down practice and today there was a fire drill. Students also completed their spelling
quizzes. In Math, we will be focusing on
mental math strategies to add numbers, so we do not have to rely on counting
with our fingers or using a number chart.
We finished reading
the novel “Dolphins at Daybreak” which included information about the coral
reef, octopuses, sharks, and clams. Then
we practiced drawing octopuses and sharks while watching instructional videos
called Art for Kids.
Don’t forget that
tonight is the Grade 2 movie night if you bought tickets in advance.
