Highlights
This week we had 3 sessions
of inline skating and all students showed significant improvement with their
skating skills! Even Ms. Bain came
inline skating one day!
Important Information
-Consent forms for our Scientist in School presentation were sent home. Please sign and return. Please contact Ms. Bain if you have any
questions.
Thank you to all who have volunteered- we have
more than enough people at this time! The presentation will run from 8:05- 11am
on Nov. 15. Ms. Bain will confirm
with all the parents volunteering in the next couple of days.
Scholastic book orders due next Monday (Nov.
7)- cash, cheque or online payment

Grade 2 Family Movie night
Nov. 10- Remembrance Day Assembly at 10 am,
Healthy Hunger Lunch (Subway), Grade 2 family movie night

Nov. 24- Healthy Hunger Lunch (Little
Caesars), School Council Meeting at 7 pm

IN BOTH HANDS: DONATIONS FOR THE CALGARY VETERANS FOOD BANK
The Calgary
Veterans Food Bank is collecting non-perishable food items at our school
beginning the first of November. Many of our Canadian veterans, their widows
and dependants will be benefiting from your generous donations. Please bring
your non-perishable food items to place in the collection boxes located inside
the doors through the school’s main entrance.

-Reading (please sign the home reading log)
-Due to the inline skating schedules we will
not be having word work (spelling) this week.
Spelling lists will be sent home next week.
