Highlights

Students in grade 1 received the book “Mr. Zinger’s Hat” as part of TD’s Grade One Book Giveaway.  Students may keep these books and do not need to bring them back to school.

In Social Studies, we worked on making a floor plan of our classroom as part of our work with mapping.

Spelling quizzes from Friday were sent home.

Homework

Reading- Paper books or Raz-kids book

Spelling- A list of spelling words for the next 2 weeks was sent home.  There will be a review quiz on these words in 2 weeks.  The homework tonight is to practice spelling and writing 1 line of the following words “play” “run” and “this.”

Important Information

Please return the blue consent forms for the CNIB presentation by Tues, Nov. 10.  If these forms are not returned, students will not be able to watch the presentation.

Forms about the winter concert were also sent home.

Farm to school fundraiser orders are due Nov. 12.

Parents can pick up their orders November 26 & 27  (This is a correction as the wrong date was written on the sheet)
