Highlights

We had our school Remembrance Day assembly in the morning.

Homework

Reading- Paper books or Raz-kids book.  Students should be reading at least 10-15 minutes each night.

Spelling- Practice spelling and write 1 line of the following words “ball” “boy” and “my.”

Important Information  (Lots of forms!!)

-Note about the Canadian Soccer Federation sent home.  Please check either “Yes” or “No” related to consent for the Federation to take pictures/videos while working with students in gym.  The form is double sided so please remember to sign the back of the page as well. 

-Note about the first committee meeting for the schools’ multi-cultural event was sent home. 

The blue consent forms for the CNIB presentation are due.  If these forms are not returned, students will not be able to watch the presentation.

Forms about the winter concert were also sent home.

Farm to school fundraiser orders are due Nov. 12.
Parents can pick up their orders November 26 & 27  (This is a correction as the wrong date was written on the sheet)

Thank you to all of those who have donated to the Veteran’s food bank.  We will be accepting donations until the end of the week.

Grade One teachers will be presenting a brief overview about what students have been working on at the School Council Meeting on Thursday, November 12 @ 7:00pm.

-Thursday, November 12 - Farm to school fundraiser sheets due back
-Friday, November 20 - NO SCHOOL – Non-instructional day
-Thursday November 26 & Friday November 27 – pick up orders for farm to school fundraiser at Panorama Hills School.
-Friday November 27 – NO SCHOOL – Parent teacher conferences
