Highlights
In math, we have started to learn
beginning strategies to help us understand the concept of addition (e.g.,
drawing pictures to solve problems, using objects or our fingers, using a
number line, starting at the larger number and counting on). As the year progresses, students will be
working on more advanced mental math strategies to help them solve addition
problems.
