Highlights
It was “Crazy Hair and Crazy Hat Day.” Lots of students chose to write about either this
event or our visit from the CNIB in their writing journals.
Ms. Bain’s class had their turn to learn about curling during “Rocks
and Rings” in gym today. Ms. Hansen’s
class had this program earlier in the week.
Homework
Reading- Paper books or Raz-kids book. Students should be reading at least 10-15
minutes each night.
Word Study (spelling): Students had their spelling quiz
today. Teachers will mark the quizzes
over the weekend and return them next week.

Ask Me About:
We learned a number of new vocabulary
words in Science today.
What does adhere mean? We started an experiment to see how well
paint will adhere (stick to) different types of materials (e.g., tin foil, wax
paper, cellophane, regular paper).
What does transparent
mean? (See through)
What does opaque mean? (Can’t see through it)
Have a great weekend!
